The standard type small end bolt has been a problem to be able to torque up for many years, the main problem is you need a very thin wall socket. We now use CA1009KITSC which is a socket cap bolt and this takes a 6mm allen key, this type of small end bolt is then very easy to torque up. If you do want to use the standard type bolt as in kit CA1009KIT please be very careful you do not damage the rod when torque up the bolts.The best way to hold the rods is with our piston holding kit EBK2040.
