Carburettor & Fuel System
The TD was fitted with 1.25”, H2 carburettors similar to those fitted to the TC but with a different length body and a fast idle arrangement on the choke lever. The Td Mk11 was fitted with 1.5”, H4 carburettors which were an enlarged version of the standard 1.25” units. The TF retained the 1.5”, H4, type but with a more modern style. The majority of parts are common to all three types of carburettors with the obvious exception of the bodies and dashport assemblies.
