About Our Delivery Service
Brown & Gammons Ltd operate a worldwide mail order service, and can offer various different carrier options depending on the weight, destination and value of the order. The information given below is a general guide only; for a more details and advice please contact the Parts Department 01462 490049, sales@ukmgparts.com
Where possible we aim to despatch your order on the day it is received (up to 14.00hrs) although this cannot be guaranteed. Please let the sales staff know if your order is urgent. We will also be pleased to quote for timed deliveries, e.g. Before Noon, Before 9am, etc.
Carriage Rates
UK Carriage prices are in Pounds Sterling. Delivery times exclude weekends and Bank Holidays. Some large or bulky items such as panels, etc. may incur extra packing charges, we will advise and update you if this is the case. An extended area surcharge applies to remote areas, e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.
Overseas
Europe Post Brexit:
The UK is now outside the EU and this means for our European customers we will now invoice your goods without UK VAT. We can of course continue to give our European customers an excellent service, sell and ship goods to you in the EU. You will however have to pay Tax and import duty in your Country as you receive the goods. Unfortunately we have no control over these charges, and cannot estimate them in advance to give an indication of costs. Please look out for carrier text messages or emails from Customs if you are expecting a parcel, as goods will be returned to the UK if undelivered/duty paid on time, and additional charges may be made for the return.
Small/lightweight orders are sent via Royal Mail, via a tracked service. Larger orders are assessed and sent via carrier using the most economical, reliable service to your country.
Rest of the World
For orders being delivered outside UK/Europe, carriage prices depend on size, weight, destination and the number of boxes. Our website gives a good scale of charges upto 20kg normally, however some items and destinations mean the order will initially only be available as a QUOTE. This is so we can assess the basket of goods and give an updated correct carriage cost for that basket. We will update the quote, normally within 48 hours, and then you will be alerted to complete the order. Please be aware that you may have to pay local taxes / import duty for orders being delivered outside of Great Britain.

USA customers please note: from 22nd August 2025 all online parts orders placed will initially be processed as QUOTES.
Don't worry we can still ship to you, but we first need to calculate and apply the correct duties and taxes to meet the latest US import directive. We will update and return the quote to you as soon as we can, so that you can continue and complete your order with us.
** Special Note - Glass **
Please note that we only send large glass items ie windscreens to the UK mainland only. We cannot ship these items overseas.
